One of the 7 tracks from my album This Binary Universe. 1.168 This album was screened in surround sound in theaters across the country. I also took it out on tour with DA and Thomas Dolby! If you haven't seen/heard it why not?!

was any of the code for this song based around series or multiples of the golden mean?

Can never get enough of landscape shots :D

This part just seems to be so contrasting to the rest of the film. All of a sudden, we're navigating though a forest of flat-plane flowers, instead of looking at moving 3d models from all angles. It's a really interesting effect. (and no more comments on this one, I promise!)

I think 'electrical flowers' whenever I see this bit.

Two things:

1. The music here makes me wish I could play guitar.

2. It's so beautiful how all that 'broken glass', which originally seemed so dense and clustered that it had no end, clears out to one of the most beautiful parts of the movie. ^^

Reminds me of a super-slowed down clip of breaking glass, with the pieces all flying apart...

I always thought this part was strange... the landscapes again. But somehow, it fits perfectly. I think that after seeing all that 3d work showing how the golden rule works, we can appreciate the golden rule's presence in nature a little better. Same goes for the '3d sunflower' part. ^w^

Now this is just too cool. A spinning version of the classic visual representation of the golden rule, with even more complex ones inside! 8D

The music and the image also remind me of birth and evolution... ^^;

I know I'm spamming you, and I know this sounds weird, but this part makes me think of the evolution of a neural network. The patterns and the music get more and more complex... and more beautiful. :D

(and I'm commenting so much because this is probably my favorite piece of artwork ever...and I don't say that lightly!)

I think it's interesting that the image changes after the 3rd measure of the guitar riff, not the 4th as normally expected.

But who ever gets 'the normally expected' from BT? :D I think it's a wonderful effect: to go from the soft pinks to the sharp, angular black and silvers at such an unexpected moment.

This is easily my favorite bit. All those sands, and then...this. It's just so subtle and simply, you hardly realized anything's changed, until...

BT, Don't know if you monitor this or not, but the DivX version of your video has somehow become truncated. It originally ran fine (I saw it early on...truly beautiful!) but upon going in lately and wanting to see it again...it appears that it has somehow become shortened. [link]
Sadness . I would love to experience it again at its full length!

I've had to have watched this around 1,618 times.

The video itself goes great with Incubus. Try it, turn down the volume and just watch the visuals. :D
