By day I work as a storyboard artist in Television Animation.
I have worked on action shows like "Transformers: Prime" and "Kaijudo, Rise of the Duel Masters" (for Hasbro Studios)
...as well as kiddie shows like "Elena of Avalor" and "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" (for Walt Disney TV Animation).

By night I draw MONSTERS!

I have been a monster fan my whole life, for as long as I can remember. Whether it came in the form of creepy comic books, monster movies, horror novels, or Halloween decorations, I have always loved weird, scary entertainment.

When I draw, I use traditional tools - paper, pencil, ink brushes, hawk quill pens, and acrylic paints. But I often color with Photoshop. So my work is a weird mix of traditional and digital art.

My Deviant Art Gallery is dedicated to my monster and horror illustrations. Step inside and have a look... If you dare!

Bryan, Happy New Year!! :w00t:

Remember a movie called The Unnamable from 1988?  Did you ever do any artwork based on that?  Alydah the Unnamable creature is quite memorable!

And while I'm rambling;

I wonder if Universal will learn anything from their crappy Marvel rip off that they had so much faith in being a complete failure both critically and financially, while Guillermo del Toro's proposed Creature from the Black Lagoon reimagining that they rejected because it was too much of a risk ended up as a damn Oscar winner that could have brought all new relevance to the brand had they taken the risk.

Like, you'd think there is an obvious lesson to be learned there, right?

I've been thinking for a while; if Universal absolutely HAD to go through with the "Dark Universe" concept, I wish they had started with that 2009 remake of The Wolfman.

Like, that movie is far from perfect, but at least it had it's heart in the right place, and it's style would have set a decent precedent moving forward.

On the other hand, I'm kind of grateful to have started with a movie so bad it strangled the concept in the crib. Saves us the inevitable indignity.

I don't know, I just felt the need to ramble about this and this is the only place I could think of.

Finally read Wulf and Batsy. Great stuff. You should be proud.

Out of curiosity, will Magnum Orgus ever be put on comiXology?

Awesome. I already purchased the digital PDF on Indyplanet (I actually started with it, reading the rest of the major arcs in backwards order. Don't ask me why, lol), but I far prefer the comiXology format and would love to complete the library there.
