Haha, time for my yearly update. Hi. If you've come here looking for more of the anime fanart I did in 2004, sorry to disappoint. So I'm a paralegal, working for a public interest law firm here in Chicago. I moved to the suburbs with my boyfriend. Oh, and I'm pregnant! Just kidding. But I am pretty busy. In less than a year, I became my own supervisor and the only paralegal on staff. The only art I have been pursuing of late is cooking. Not so great at that one yet, but I do bake a mean cran-orange butter cookie. I don't plan on being a paralegal forever, and I certainly don't want to go to law school. Will I make a triumphant (ha) return

Well, it looks like my long doomed relationship with the visual arts has come to an end... I have a BFA but since that's not enough to get a job and live, I decided to go back to school and get a paralegal certificate. So, I'll be working for lawyers and stuff, eventually. I'm actually really excited and happy about it. Especially since now I don't have to feel guilty about being an art student and not doing any art. College (and maturity) really did a number on my passion for art, drawing, optimism, etc. But I grew in many, many positive ways as well. Oh, that's right, I took up knitting. Maybe I'll learn how to make amigurumi some day
