The eye sees, but the mind wants more than the eyes can see. The mind craves more. My mind is satisfied.

Thank you, but although my stuff may be pleasant it lacks power. That is why I am so attracted to your work. Your style and imagination are very powerful, an inspiration to me.

thank you again for your kind words.but i must disagree about your works not having power.they do have power, but it grows in a different,in it's delicate flow of the lines,it's unique.well, that's my opinion anyway.you also may think your works lack power because you're stuck with it all the time, you can't have an objective perspective on it.i guess it's problem with all of us.i always hate my work when it's done, and always see mistakes.that's the thing that keeps me to work more,i guess.if i make something perfect, what's the point in making it again, the results could only be less satisfying.

I don't really know where it comes from. Sometimes it's not there at all and it scares me that it's lost. Silly, huh? I think if we just keep going and just keep producing art, maybe someone else, later, may see what I cannot. It's wonderful to bring something new into the world that has never been before. Besides, no one knows what we intend when we create, so maybe to others, they never see the flaws at all. That would be nice to know.

i agree with you.exept one thing.not later.everyone sees what you cannot right away.that's the beauty of it.you always have your main reason for doing something, sometimes it's obvious, sometimes you have to tell it.but people will always see something alse also.connect it with something of their own, relate to it in their own personal way.

I think you are right. Maybe all art; music, theatre, literature, sculpture...everything art... is connected to each person experiencing the art for the first time. I wonder if we see it differently because we've had our attention on it too closely and it is no longer fresh to us? Interesting hypothesis. Probably true.

it's true in my case.i guess it has to be true for everyone.i have a friend at the academy,he's a painter.pretty good one.and every time he's starting a painting he's exited and always talks about it and asking questions, our opinion and stuf like that.but after a period of time,he just goes berserk and repaints the entire painting in white.and starts another.he's only explanation is that he's not satisfied.he's just fed up with it.but i think he's brave cause he's not afraid to completely destroy his work.
