The evening was already turning into the night as I arrived home from my shift. As I look out to the window at the beautiful metropolis of Zootopia, my mind constantly wanders back to that event more than 5 years ago. Even now, I can still recall that sensation I felt when I was walking home after a long evening drinking with the buddies. A little pinch in my neck, followed by my consciusness slipping away. Everything that made who I am was taken away from me, only to be replaced with base desires. I was literally an animal, regressed and wild. To think that there was a substance out there that would literally shut down our higher brain funct
- Spyro, do you remember what day tomorrow is? Elora asked Spyro.
Spyro made a smile, easily knowing the answer.
- It was the day I accidentally wandered into Avalar and began my quest of ridding the lands of that tiny tyrant Ripto of course. Spyro answered confidently.
Spyro didn't know when he saw Elora previously. After the brief hookup after his detour to Forgotten Worlds in order to defeat the Sorceress and rescue the stolen dragon eggs, Spyro hasn't heard from Elora since. As far as Spyro knew, there were still problems over in Avalar that needed fixing ASAP. And so the day the young purple dragon finally managed to reunite with the
Everything was dark and cold. Makoto Torishima knew as much. All that she could remember was sitting in the back seat of her family's car, looking at her new hometown. And then, there was a ghastly noise, followed by screams. - Am I dead? Makoto wondered to herself. Suddenly, a bright light appeared in front of Makoto's very eyes. She had to shield them with her hands lest she be blinded. Eventually the light faded to reveal a squirrel-like creature, clad in a cloak of some sort and carrying a wooden staff. - Who are you? Makoto asked the creature. The creature made a quick bow and then introduced himself: Greetings, chosen warrior of hope. I am Ratatoskr, Messenger of the Tree. And now Makoto was even more confused. Ratatoskr? Messenger of the Tree? She still wasn't sure whether this was a dream or a nightmare. Nevertheless, she decided to ask him some questions. - Greetings to you too, Ratatoskr. What do you mean by 'chosen'? - Ah yes, this situation must be very confusing for
Brief History of Galar by BronzeHeart92, literature
Brief History of Galar
In ancient times, Galar was nothing but dreary swamps and endless forests filled with creatures more dangerous than any Pokémon. Many millennia it had spend in that state until the First Ones arrived. With the unbreakable bonds they shared with their Pokémon partners, the First Ones cultivated the lands and made Galar hospitable for life human and Pokémon alike. But it was clear their quest wasn’t going to be an easy one. It's as if the very land was actively fighting against their presence. Whether it was poisoning the water, enveloping everything in a dangerous mist or even siccing strange creatures against the perceived invaders (today's historians have theorized that these creatures didn't have individual wills like Pokémon but rather were extensions of ancient Galar's 'will'; further studies needs to be done in this department although it's conjectured that the Dynamax and Gigantamax forms that certain Pokémon can take are in fact a remnant of the power these ancient creatures

King of kings: Chapter 56
When Malefor woke up, it was early in the morning. He found that out thanks to the hourglass only, for the skies above hadn't changed one bit. He rubbed his forehead as he got up from his bed, feeling a slight headache. He opened the window, hoping to get some fresh air. He was immediately mesmerized by the view. The dark skies covered the land for as long as he could see. It also stunned him how high his room was. A fall to the ground would definitely kill him. However, unlike most other high places he had ever seen, there was very little wind. Even though the surroundings were quite strange, they did not help him overcome his pain. He quickly turned his head around as he heard a familiar sound. He saw the spirit from last night picking up his dinner plates and leaving him his breakfast. It then started to look at him. The moment he did, its eyes widened. "Do you fear me?" Malefor asked in the tongue of Zarakhan as he approached the fireplace. The spirit said nothing. It only
As you might know indeed, it'll be Christmas once again soon. Got any plans for it yet? As usual, it might dinner with family and some presents for me most likely. But then again, it's still too early to talk about these things I suppose considering it's still November...
I mean, whose bright idea was it to not allow us to set the landing page anyway? For a long time, I've always browsed deviantART using Newest. And since the Popular 24 section ALWAYS seems to showcase the same few artists, it really makes this site more boring by comparison...
At least when it comes to Video Games. So many awesome stuff to play indeed. Especially since more and more Japanese publishers are onboard as well. That said, I do tend to be broke more often than not which is sad really... Still, I'm always a gamer at heart.
