This is so beautiful and like others, I can hardly believe this isn't a photo. The coloring, the shading, the texture; it's just so good! You are incredibly talented and skilled, I am awed. :wow:

I am speechless at this painting. I seriously
thought this was photography. Amazing
work I love the soft and natural feel to it.

Thank you, up close in person it is more noticeably a painting, when you take a photo of a painting you lose so much of the detail

Yeah photo capture mostly leaves the most delicate feature of a painting or drawings. But really the way you paint portraits makes me breathless.its so realistic.id seen a lot of painters doing this thing but yours is something not like them:love:

She does look very finished - perfection once again!   Was this a commission? - I am always interested to know how the end results are accepted by model/customer.

Thank you :) and no this one wasn't a commission, but the model is a friend, I'm just about to send her an image of it to see what she thinks.
So far I haven't had any bad feedback on a commission (though maybe they are just being polite)

I am sure most people would say if something was not quite right - in a very polite way of course!  I always find myself very apprehensive when I've been working from only a photo for ages, then see the result next to the real thing.  I suppose it is better if you know, and have access to, the real person while the work is ongoing.
