I keep imagining that the female pteranodons are talking about the male one.

"Wow! Look at the crest on him!"
"Oh anyone who becomes his mate will have the strongest flaplings this side of the Niobrara!"

This is, of course, VERY nice. I love your artwork. But shouldn't the rocks be more shit-stained? ;)

Looking at your lovely, CORRECT Pteranodon, I was reminded that Jurassic Park 3 gave them teeth when the word Pteranodon means "wing toothless". Brilliant. :) I also have a model Pteranodon with teeth. It's the Papo model, probably based on Jurassic Park 3. I named him "Toothless" in defiance. ;)

That's a very good observation... but, they just got there, the scene would be like this:

(female on the background) -Do you like my new home? I just rented these rock cliff, is brand new, but soon it will ve covered in my shit.
(the other one) - I know girl, and I would like to help you covering all this rocks in shit.
(male flying) -That's disgusting!! I'm flying out of here, keep your shit-stained rocks...

LOL! Not only are you a brilliant artist, you're funny, too. :) Your response reminds me of Adam Savage's adage: "Make Stuff Up".

I do the same thing. Someone once told me the head on a Dwarf I drew was too big. Since it was a fantasy pic, I figured the Dwarf's head could be any size I damn well wanted it to be, as long as he didn't have to drag it along the ground. ;) I had an entire story made up for the picture. Maybe I should go ahead and write it, even if it is yet another Tolkien clone. *shrug*

Haha, or you should do a comic strip and uploaded XD
Sometimes I have a pretty childish side, always coming up with nonsense =p

That's a great trait to have. Only I would use the word "child-like". It means you haven't lost your sense of wonder.

BTW, I keep almost asking for your input on my artwork, but I get a little scared because you're so brilliant at the kinds of art I'm currently interested in.

Yes, I will "man up" and just ask at some point.

Aw. Sternbergi. I see that type fossil every day at work. Good job.

I think that the museum should see this print.  I bet Curtis would figure out a place where we could hang this excellent work.

Oh right, he is thinking of doing that soon isn't he? The 'mini gallery' idea? I agree, he probably would.

Thanks so much, although I been pointing out that there's some mistakes in the wing proportions. Any criticism is welcome!

Accepting criticism is the path to getting better. I finally managed to easily accept criticism with my music and writing, but I haven't subjected my artwork to the gauntlet. Yet. :)

I'm sure you would be very helpful...once I am able to exercise those "criticize me" muscles.
