...So. Finished Deus Ex 3 earlier today, and I am pleased.
The original Deus Ex is the best game I have ever played, and holds a special little sci-fi nerd, transhumanist, conspiracy-loving, paranoid place in my heart. I was nervous upon hearing of HR due to that personal importance the original has for me, to the extent that I watched the teaser trailer once or twice and then did my best to ignore the game completely. That Square Enix was involved didn't help my concerns much, as I'm not much of a fan of games they're involved in (there are a few exceptions- but only a few).
