As Edward walked into the crowded student union, he saw that several of his friends had already gathered around one of the vacant tables and were chatting away with each other. When they noticed that Ed had arrived, they happily waved for him to come over and have a seat. "Ed, over here!" Clutching his rather full tray of food, Edward made his way over to the table. Once he got there he frowned. There was barely any room for him to sit. Grabbing a chair from an empty table, he did his best to squeeze into the small space he was given, just barely fitting. "Guys, I think we need to find another table." Ed groaned, barely able to move between
It was the next day. Apple had gone to the Boss and demanded a meeting in the morning as soon as possible. The trouble now was getting Brad inside the building to be there too; something Brad was admittedly still nervous about.
The doors to the restaurant had always been a little wider than normal ones, due to the size of it’s usual guest. As Apple smeared coconut oil around the doorframe, convinced it would be good for Brad’s skin and make sliding in easier, Brad stood just outside the building, his breathing now so heavy he had to strain to hear even someone right in front of him.
When the greasing wa
“The Best Fine Dining - Gordito’s has it all, and we want you to know that we’re becoming known for something more; we are on track to be the world’s first ZERO WASTE restaurant!”
Working while going to school was never an ideal setup, but most of Brad’s friends were in the same boat as him: getting some help from their parents, maybe some financial aid, but still coming up short every month. He could probably stand to party a little less, and perhaps drink fewer beers. Lucky for him, Brad already had an in for the job at “Gorditos” – the assistant manager was his old frat
Amazingly, Randy managed to get to his feet, feeling what remained of his pants rip to shreds at the sudden movement of his elephant-sized body. He stood as still as he could, though the sudden addition of so much weight had thrown his balance off. Kent slowly held the camera to his eye, looking towards Randy.
“...say cheese.” Randy scoffed.
With a sudden burst of light, Kent and Randy heard another polaroid emerge from the cursed camera. Looking at each other for a second, Kent took the picture and observed it. His face dropped. Randy sloshed his way to Kent’s side, looking at the square photo
Seeing his gigantic roommate come home, Gil insisted that the two of them go to the doctor. Begrudgingly, Randy agreed.
As Randy sat in the doctor’s office, he could feel the other patients staring. He was starting to get used to being the center of attention, even if it was just because he was turning into a human blimp. “Randy Masterson.” the nurse finally calls, looking a bit revolted. With a great deal of effort, Randy somehow propelled himself off the bench he was sitting on. It took three male nurses to push him into the doctor’s office. When the doctor first caught sight of Randy, he himself turned red.
Randy rubbed his eyes and looked again. The face that looked back was his own...with about 100 pounds added on. Shocked awake, Randy let out a scream. “Wh-what the hell is going on?!” he yelled. Looking down, the source of the rip became clear - Randy’s boxer briefs had split down the middle. Frowning, Randy felt the thick round circle of flesh that used to be his flat stomach. It felt hot and fuzzy to the touch, like Jell-O. Turning to the side with dread, Randy saw that another tear had run down the middle of his bulging butt. His face looked like it had been rounded out, with two new fatty chins welded on. By this time, G
CHAPTER 4 - GROWING
“No! DON’T!!” Before Randy could stop him, Kent took his picture. With a small shake, the camera spit out a small polaroid, which Kent pulled out nervously. Randy, starting to sweat a little, walked to Kent’s side, resisting the urge to strangle him right then and there. They stood silently, watching as the picture began to take form. They could see a patch of Randy’s blonde hair, his watery blue eyes, long nose. But as the photo became more and more clear, Randy’s eyes grew wider and wider, until finally he let out a tiny scream. “What is this?!” he exclaimed.
Randy Newport was a pretty normal guy. A senior at Franklin University and member of the baseball team, he was generally well-liked by his colleagues and spent a good amount of his time studying and hanging out with friends. Ever since he was a kid, Randy’s been lanky and tall. Even after he got to college and had all the freedom in the world, he remained svelt. As all of his friends slowly put on weight, he stayed tall and lean. In fact, the idea of getting fat was Randy’s biggest fear.
Which just makes what happened to him all the more tragic.
“C’mon man, just do it. Just dash in real quick and get outta the
