Finished up work on yet another commission. Again the recipient is none other than 
. I am sure many of you have already seen the first two installments I have done for Chapter 14 of his “New Dawn” story and this image rounds out the trio of pics.

Let’s get on to this specific image. We have ourselves a pic of Dash carrying Sonic at tremendous speed as she busts through the clouds. She leaves behind her signature Sonic Rainboom in her wake as Sonic looks back to take in the spectacle. Sonic’s no stranger to breaking the sound barrier, but he has probably never seen it done with this kind of style.
Lots of lighting and various effects made there way into the construction of this image, for pretty obvious reasons. I wanted to make sure the Rainboom was bright and radiant, but I still prioritized the characters as the focal point of the image. It was difficult to do but it all works out in the end.
