I was asked if one of my pieces could be used along with an article on BBC News about the Beowulf legend.
Of course I agreed, because... well, Grendel!!
The story went live today:
I am an illustrator and graphic artist, shifting between both traditional and digital mediums depending on what suits the final piece best.
I’ve always enjoyed the classic horror and monster movies, and scaring people; as such, I get inspired by the darker side of the world, ghost stories and the things that go bump in the night. I try to carry that over into my artwork. I’m also inspired by the artwork of the Pre-Raphaelite, Art Nouveau and Impressionist movements as well as artists; Frank Frazetta, Glenn Barr, Jean-Léon Gérôme, and many, many, many others...
Working with various clients, I have created art for projects such as book covers and interior art, CCG card art, box covers, banners, concept art and the occasional logo as well as numerous private commissions.
