I would like to begin by stating that I really do like this piece and any negative critique is merely coming from closer examination using a critical eye.
Now, on to the critique:
1.) The expression on the models face is incredible. It draws you in with its intensity and yet seems to be a mix of several emotions. I know it is difficult to catch a look like this sometimes it happens on purpose and sometimes by accident, but whenever one does catch it, it really is extraordinary; you have caught an amazing look
2.) In order to really focus on bringing out this look I would have cropped ever so slightly closer. There is a fair amount of space at the bottom of the photo and a small piece of the hairline showing. I would have cropped just tight enough to curt the hairline out of the corner of this photo completely while keeping the image relatively centered.
3.) The colour contrast is fantastic. Your choice for makeup on this model is, in my opinion excellent. The muted colours for the lips and the nails and lack of blush really allow the viewers eyes to focus on the bright colours surrounding and in the eye. I am not sure how much editing you did to this photo, but the eyes themselves are perfect. The depths of the blue really can be likened to a sapphire-and yet it is not overdone (as some images are) to make it seem fake.
4.) Because this shot is on an angle, as far as the face is concerned, the second eye is slightly out of focus. Because of the incredible beauty of these eyes and the makeup around them, I would have recommended finding a way to keep both eyes in crystal focus for the shot. The fact that the second is out of focus detracts (ever so slightly) from the intensity of the gaze
5.) Finally, the overall positioning and composition of this photo is excellent. I find that the hand touching the cheek ever so lightly adds a whole extra dimension of thought and feeling to the piece.
I congratulate you once again on an excellent shot and wish you all the best with your future art endeavors. Kudos.
