OHMIGERSH. *coughs* Anyways, let's get started.
This is very well drawn and shaded. Derpy is very lost and tranced as i can see, yet the doctor doesn't seem more... well.... just doesn't seem to be looking at anything...
Some ways that you look at it will seem he is either staring at her forehead or at the background. Just watch out for the eyes.
I love the blush on Derpy's face, which gives her a sense of embarrassment but cuteness at the same time. The doctor's glasses gives away some of his personallity, alonmg with his tie, which is personally my fav.
I like the shading and their manes.
The background gives off a romantic setting and the glow gives off where the moon would be placed. It looks as if they are up in the sky or sitting somewhere high. I like those clues that you give us to find the setting.
Derpy's eyes look curious and excited, while the doctor seems surprised. Their expressions are well detailed, and this is overall very well drawn.
Firstly i have to tell you how much i love the outlines thin on the inside and thick on the outside.
secondly the shading technique you had used on this is great, but also it coulda been a little bit smoother on the transition of each color but on the other hand it suits this drawing.
The background is just amazing, simplistic but amazing also it makes Miss Ditzy Doo/Derpy Doo and Doctor stand out and forces the eye sight to focus on them instead of the wool drawing as most people would do (at least that's my opinion).
From the facial expressions as usual Miss Doo is happy as hey because of this situation, but on the other hand she seems quite pleased like she planned this moment for long time.
The doctors face just cracks me up every time i look at it, its like he is in a super extraneous position but he quite enjoyed it in a way, like he was waiting for this moment for a long time but this seems like a big surprise for him that she had made this move.
P.S.Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, English is not my first language. also i love this drawing <3
I liked your critique very much. Not only was it fair, but it was very well written -- I've seen some people that have spoken English all their life and still can't conjugate verbs in writing as well as you did. A little more punctuation, but other than that fantastic!
Oh! "Peruse" is a big, fancy word for "browse"; usually it is in the context of walking through a store and in that sense it is taking time to look at and compare the objects on sale. I simply ask for you to "walk" through my gallery, look at my different pictures and, if you so want to, favorite on some and comment on them.
