Group and Submission Guidelines

All are welcome to join   Only Members of the group can submit - All types of work will be considered (photography, paint, sculpture, etc.) as long as they are of high quality and the subject involves BC.

Note: Pieces that do not have British Columbia as the subject will be considered ONLY if you are a resident of BC

Submission Rules:

Please submit your deviation to the correct folder (waterscape, landscape, black & white, etc.). Submissions to the wrong folder will be rejected.

Submissions must be your own, quality, work.  

Photography Submissions:

Do you have questions, or are looking for ideas, on how to edit your photo's to obtain the best results?  PhotographyWorld has a large archive of tutorials helpful to photographers of all skill levels

Images are to be good -> high quality and follow dA rules of submission.  

Photographs are to be clear / in focus, neat and well presented.  'Snapshot' images and/or images taken from moving vehicles will be declined.

  Blurry and out of focus images, as well as overexposed or underexposed photographs will be declined.  

Size is to be a minimum of 600 pixels on both sides, preferably larger.

Submissions with additional text or a watermark that interfere with the image are not acceptable, this includes the deviantART watermark, and will be declined.

°  All submissions are subject to a vote and need 2-3 'yes' votes.  We may have declined your submission because it wasn't original or/and it wasn't creative or/and it was poor technically.  We don't decline your photos to offend you and it's not personal, so please don't leave the group because of one/few declined pieces, try submitting another or/and ask for some constructive feedback.}
