Description
These are the first two pages of the Yule section of my Illustrated Book of Shadows. [link] The border first was done as a graphite pencil drawing, then inked over with technical pen .30 and scanned into Photoshop where I added color, texture and the Art Deco border from Dover publications. The two small birds on the left page are also from Dover. Yule is celebrated December 19-22 (depending on the year), the winter equinox and the longest night of the year. *Brightstone
