Every day and on a large scale, homeless dogs and cats are starving to death, are killing each other over resources, and are dying of untreated injuries or diseases. There are no words to describe their suffering.
Stray animals are literally fighting for their survival each and every day.
In many countries, citizens have become less tolerant, and dogs and cats are poisoned, hanged, stoned, or shot. Countless unwanted dogs and cats end up in shelters where even the most basic care is missing. Every day we find injured animals and provide urgently needed medical care. The lucky ones are only limping. Others are missing part of their tails, ears, or toes. All of them are incredibly hungry.
