Hey BV!  Just admiring your galleries.  Even though it's heavily stylized, your knowledge and skill shine through.  The pencils are thoroughly dimensional with a good feel for cross-contour.  The tonal work with copic markers shows just how keen your understanding and feel for form is.  It's very keen!  What I don't understand is - why no inks?  I can't believe you'd shy away from the challenge of straight black and white.  (so, where do you keep 'em?)

Ha. Hey SD. I don't mind inking, as I find it requires a very different skill set from penciling and a challenge that I welcome. You can chalk it up to bad timing. What I've been doing lately is working on my Copic's so I only outline my pencils in light inks and leave the Copic's to set the weights and dimensions.  I realized the other night that I have no inked work in my gallery and that doesn't allow colorists a chance to color my work if they should choose to do so. Hence the lightly inked Jean Grey that I posted last night. I am going to try to even out the art going forward to display my penciled, inked and copic art evenly.  I hope that makes sense. Btw, I ran across your gallery this morning and I was thoroughly impressed not only by your talent but your life's journey and how it all came back to the art after all these years. Kudos to you!  That said, you should take a stab at one of my penciled art. Spice it up a bit!  Haha. Take care and thanks for the kind words.

Glad to hear it.  And, yes, makes perfect sense.
Thank you for the kind words and offer.  I'll give a go at inking your pencils. Be advised, though; my dirty hand shows in everything I do. You may not recognize your own work when i'm done with it.
