The Gypsy wandered into a bad part of Comodo Beach, and pleaded Medusa not to turn her into stone with her stare.
Medusa promised she wouldn't stare at her directly, if she liked her performance. So the Gypsy danced away with lavish gestures and rhythm. Medusa was pleased with her. However Medusa didn't mention anything about being snake bitten with the stone curse. Medusa liked her dance so much she wanted a souvenir.

Tbh, if I were Medusa, I would probably turn EVERY CUTE BELLY DANCER I SEE INTO STONE!!! Not before they would perform for me first, of course. ;3
