The tea stained sheets of paper make these even more awesome.

I love these. This one looks so much like my sister who's also a bit of a book worm. How big are these paintings? <:)

Reminds me of the many times I read a book while leaning on a tree stump and drinking tea. I need to start doing this again as Summer is just around the corner. I need to find a new tree stump though...

I particularly love the grass that flows against the character's foot and the items around it. And the books too. I'd be curious to know which books she is reading.

I'm glad DA promoted your work today, otherwise I may have never fallen upon your page. Victorian inspired art as well as steam punk are definitely elements that interest me quite a bit. I see a lot of people dressed as such at Anime conventions (Anime North, Otakuthon, G-Anime, Nadeshicon, etc) and I did once dress in gothic lolita attire (no pics exist....except maybe one on my HD).

If ever you come down to Quebec City around April 4th to 6th in 2014, be sure to give me a fare warning so I can kidnap you and have you give a panel or two on your art. ;)

I really love these drawings! But how do you color something with tea?

She's so lovely! And I like this little thing she has on her back, even if I don't quite know what it is.

This is a wonderful and very interesting little piece. I love the detail that you note you've painted it with tea. How so? The same type of tea or different flavours, maybe mixed up with colours afterwards?
Can't help to wonder if it won't smell very nice and also how using tea in the first place came up - did your tea get cold and didn't you want to waste the use of water? :)

I think she is gorgeous! I love the little trinkets, and the feather. And her facial expression is great!
