Lore:

On the southernmost tip of the great Feynest Forest, just on the edge of the barbaric Unbroken Wilds, lives the great Anajji Tribe. A matriarchal queendom of brutal and reclusive amazonian women. A head and shoulders taller than most people, the Anajji are mighty huntresses and warriors that prey on giant beasts for food... and men for slave labor. 

Few will ever meet the legendary Anajji, as most keep to their isolated queendom in the forest. Many, however, have met Hanajju, the Hunteress. An exile of the Anajji Tribe with a mysterious and troubled past, Hanajju travels the southern realm of Sword Court alone. Her only companion is her beloved Hook Beak mount, Kantu.

Continuing her people's tradition, she hunts large, dangerous beasts twice her size. But in her case, it's not just for food, but for reward. Many people both rich and poor alike are eager to receive her help when their lands, livestock, and loved ones are being pillaged and devoured by ravenous monsters. She rarely accepts gold or jewels or expensive things that regular folk have deemed "valuable". Rather, she accepts offerings that meet her interest; trinkets and  trophies that amuse her, a small herd of livestock to feed herself and Kantu (for both the Anajji and Hook Beaks have enormous appetites), repairs for her equipment, or even musicians to entertain her for an evening while she eats.

While these "fees" many seem small and frivolous to some given the value of the service she offers, she is not so easy to find. When she does appear to help with a large monster causing mayhem, it's often because she was already tracking the very same beast herself. She is reclusive like her former Anajji-kin, and spends most of her days alone. She does not like to be bothered, and is noted by the many who've met her as being very introverted and anti-social; either not understanding or not caring for basic courtesies. Her attire is particularly troublesome to the religiously conservative people of Sword Court, who view her barbaric lack of modesty in her dress to be indecent at best.

Still, any complaints about her uncouth demeanor are greatly drown out by the voices of hundreds of commoners that have been saved by the Huntress.
