How to Detangle a Long Wig Tutorial

Long wigs are extraordinarily fun to wear. And then they are a pain in the ass. Only minutes after stepping out of the car, excited to start a fun day at the con, woooosh! A gust of wind goes by and you are done for.
But fret not! With a lota-bit of patience and these helpful hints, your wig will be restored back to new before you know it.
The first time I wore my Deedlit wig it took me 6 hours...6 HOURS!...to detangle. I wanted to cry. The second time I used these methods and it took me half an hour to get the tangles out, then another half hour to straighten it to perfection. So much easier.

Thank you so so much (/ T w T )/~ threw out one of my wig clips because it got so tangled beyond repair but now I know what to do.
yeah wigs are not easy lol. It takes a lot of patience. Now I know to look for 'tangle resistant" if possible
So do you braid your wigs when you don't use them and when they're just sitting on the wig stand?
When I am done using them I do a loose braid and then put it in a plastic bag to store. This way it doesn't tangle when you take it out of the bag. Make sure the braid is loose though, or else it might crimp your wig into a slight wave. Sometimes if I know I will be leaving it out on the wig stand for a while I braid it as well, so people dont mess it up when they pass by

Yeah, it works so amazing. The first time I detangled my Deedlit wig took 6 Hours! The second time I used this technique and it only took half an hour. Craziness.

hehe takes me about an hour to do my chii wig it's a combo of epic cosplay and a cheap silver ebay wig my deedlit wig i used has died sadly, do you mind me asking what wig did you end up using for your deedlit cosplay?

It looks great, but for some reason I found it tangles like HELL. Lately I've been using cosplay buzz for my wigs, which is amazing quality for the price. They just don't have the best selection
