Another 3 step Gimp tutorial process on how to make a watermark/signature for your deviations.

Side Notes: Made on Windows 7 using M.S. Paint, and Gimp 2.6

Not bad, you know you can save any image file the same way to increase GIMP's usefulness.

oh...well i wouldn't want to take someone elses hard work...plus I like to make my own pictures :) but I will remember that, thanks :3

The stock 100's of brushes from PS are what I was referring to... also, you can use a camera to get 'texture photos' and import them as either brushes or patterns.

Oh sorry I know almost nothing about PS x.x; and thanks for the tip on the camera, gives me another reason to get one!

No problem - just look at what you need for your brush - then walk outside, or in your kitchen, or at your work (be sure to ask about photography at your work)... you'll find all sorts of textures... try to get as 'square' to the object as possible... when you get home - crop out any parts you don't want - then save it as a texture...

Wow...! I never thought of that :} I think I will do that as well, hopefully I'll get my laptop soon so I can try it, and also another camera...haha. Thanks so much
