The biggest event of the VWW calendar, it is once again time to pull out the biggest matches possible.
While there are several really high profile matches on the card, the biggest spotlight by far shines on the winner of the World Cup of Wrestling, being "The Hispanic Hellcat" Raquel Rodríguez.
Guaranteed her first Clash of Queens main event title match, the question only was which of the two World Titles Rodríguez would go after.
After confronting Amethyst and even teasing to instead challenge Cheerleader Melissa for the PFA World Championship ( and, quote, "retire her" ), Rodríguez made her final decision on the August 11 edition of Saturday Night Hawtness, when she viciously attacked VWW World Champion The Voice.
Since then the two have only clashed verbally with Rodríguez avoiding the champion, hiding behind her new bodyguards, Lopez & Ortega, collectively known as "The Latin Security Detail".
The Voice, however, is spoiling for a fight. So will the biggest night of the year be payback time or will it be her curtain call?
Ever since being confronted by Sabrina Crowley at Hostile Takeover on July 15, Blonde Nova has found herself coming face-to-face with the up-and-coming maineventer on several more occasions.
Knowing that Crowley wanted her spot, Nova immediately tried to put her in her place, just to soon find out that Crowley's place might indeed be the top of the food chain in VWW.
Now VWW's megastar will finally collide with VWW's future. One looking to cement her legacy, while the other is looking to claim her rightful place.
Blonde Nova sure isn't willing to pass the torch yet, but will Sabrina Crowley take it by force?
Also, the longest ongoing feud in VWW will finally come to an end, as Jess Bentley engages in battle with Jazzmin Rhysm, the woman who retired her mother, one final time.
It will be Jess Bentley's one-year anniversary in VWW and she has continuously gotten better since. In her words: "Each day I burn brighter, while your fire is going cold!"
But is she good enough yet to maybe retire Jazzmin Rhysm, a woman who has been a corner stone of VWW since day one?
Will the vengeful wolverine finally get her revenge?
The tag team division has been a hot mess over the last few weeks. C.C. Meyer & Maylene have been a constant thorn in the champions' side, Turkey Honey are trying to reclaim their old glory and Jessicka Havok & Alpha Female have just been steamrolling over the competition since coming back together. Then there are Les Usurpatrices, who returned from a hiatus ( to celebrate France's FIFA World Cup win ) on the August 2 edition of Blood Thursday to immediately score a non-title win over the reigning champions Lisa Max & Kodi Sixx. After much chaos, it was decided that the six hottest teams in VWW today would all face off in a "Ladder War" for the World Tag Team Championship.
Who will survive?
After costing her the World Title twice, first at P.M.S. in April, then recently at Hail to the Queen, Kelly Klein has set her sights on the deranged Cheerleader Becky.
Systematically taking out the Harlequin Squad one-by-one, Klein seeks to destroy the Harlequeen at the biggest show of the year.
Meanwhile, Becky is crazy enough to face VWW's wrecking machine, but not too crazy to realize she has a chance of ending Kelly Klein's 2 year + undefeated streak.
Who will win? The Pretty Badass or the Clown Queen of Chaos?
Speaking of crazy, it seems Katie Orchid has snapped during her time away from the ring.
Begrudging Talia her success, Katie recently returned, vowing to "take her sister down into the abyss with her".
Talia, on the other hand, stated that, while Katie used to be her everything, she loves wrestling too much to leave.
And that, if Katie wants her career to end, she will have to kill her in that ring!
After losing a Triple Threat Match for the VWW World Television Title to defending champion Billie Jett, Mandy Leon and Hania the Howling Huntress started a rivalry of their own.
However, their match was interrupted when both women were attacked and laid out by Barbi's Dolls.
Not willing to let that slide, the two decided to put their differences aside and work together to challenge the, quote, "Bimbo Brigade" for the United States Tag Team Championship on the biggest stage of the year.
Aside from some other old rivalries or even blood feuds being renewed, as Shizuka & Aya Kazama will team up for the first time in years to take on the Rockin' Redheads and Teena Cristine will challenge nemesis Anastasia Chernova for the International crown, new head of talent relations Nestor Chapman has decided to throw an open invitational battle royal for a highly paid spot on the roster.
