Backstory:
An Abridged History of Mayhem (Earth-982)I think at this point, anyone who's a Spider-Man fan has at least heard of the Clone Saga. If you haven’t, it was an infamous story arc from the 90's where Peter Parker finds out his clone from an old 70’s story survived their encounter. Now going by the name Ben Reilly, the clone- after a journey of self-discovery across the globe- returned to New York so he could check up on Aunt May, who’s recently fallen ill. Ben’s creator, the Jackal, has also returned and begins playing mind games with Peter and Ben, making them doubt which one’s the “real” Peter Parker. While this is going on, the Jackal's first Spider-Man clone, Kaine, has come to ...

Mileena (Mortal Kombat)
Connections: Psychotic clones who were created by one of the main villains to replace the originals. Both have deformed, fanged mouths that they’re ashamed of and try to hide in some way (Mayhem by shapeshifting, Mileena with her mask). Both are prone to violent and angry outbursts and want to kill their original so they can obtain the approval of their parents. They even managed to briefly take the original’s place before being exposed, which caused them to undergo a shift in personality (Mayhem by growing more psychotic and violent, Mileena by growing more power-hungry after she was forced to relinquish Shao Kahn’s throne)
Who I think wins: Mileena has more experience, a wide array of weapons, and is more skilled in CQC, but that's about it. Mayhem has her number in stats, her Spider-Sense can track Mileena's invisible form and warn her to avoid attacks, and if Mileena tries to vore her, she can just control her body's consistency to choke Mileena out
Jagi (Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken)
Connections: Antagonistic adopted siblings to one of the main heroes, who they hold a grudge against and impersonated at one point in the hopes of manipulating the public. They also have some sort of facial deformity that they hide in some way and are angered by.
Who I think wins: Mayhem's faster, though to what extent depends on whether you buy FTL HnK. Regardless, they both have ways of bypassing each other's durability (Mayhem by smothering Jagi with her symbiote, Jagi with his pressure points), but Jagi has more advantages. He's way stronger and more durable, has multiple ways to boost his stats, can bypass Mayhem's durability with his pressure points, manipulate her emotions, and has a wider arsenal. Said arsenal includes fire-based weapons if you include the games, which would completely demolish April.
Namari Shirogane (Grenadier)
Connections: See Jagi
Who I think wins: This is a weird case. Namari's stronger, more durable, more experienced, has a large arsenal, and can predict Mayhem's actions with the Scan Eye. She even has a way to exploit the symbiote's weakness to fire with her Hell Flare Blow. The only problem is Mayhem holds a speed advantage that Namari has no way of getting past, can leave her paralyzed using her electrostatic transfer, and her Spider-Sense makes it unlikely Namari could successfully pull off the Hell Flare Blow.
Decapre (Street Fighter)
Connections: Blue-clad clones with a deformed face who have a psychotic obsession with killing the protagonist
Who I think wins: Not too sure. Decapre has a massive edge in strength, durability, and experience, but Mayhem's much faster, can leave Decapre paralyzed with her electrostatic transfer, has better versatility with her shapeshifting, and could probably choke her to death
Nu-13/Juusan (Blazblue)
Mayhem vs Nu: Blue-clad experiments who were created by the villains with the purpose of aiding in one of their long-term schemes. Both have an unhealthy obsession with their red-clad, heroic sibling and believe that killing them is the key to obtaining the love they desire (Mayhem believing she can take May's place in the Parker family, while Nu's mind conflates violence towards Ragna with lust and a desire to fuse with/kill him). After being rejected by the ones they loved, they went insane and doubled down on their previous goals to the point of a self-destructive obsession.
M vs Juusan: Same as the above, but following a time skip after the main character’s death, they calmed down, reflected on their past actions, and abandoned their previous identities out of regret. They then took on new names (M and Juusan) and began working to atone by traveling to the past
Who I think wins: Mayhem/M has a large speed advantage and her Spider-Sense makes it harder for Nu to catch her off guard. However, Nu/Juusan has an even larger edge in strength and durability, as well as a better healing factor and willpower. The remaining advantages depend on which versions you use. With Mayhem vs Nu, Mayhem probably has more experience, while Nu’s Sword Summoner gives her better range. With M vs Juusan, M definitely has more experience, but Juusan can just summon an orbital strike with Take-Mikazuchi.
K9999/Krohnen McDougall (King of Fighters)
Connections: For K9999 vs Mayhem, they're both violent, psychotic, and unstable clones with a short temper and a seething hatred for one of the heroes. For Krohnen vs M, they're older, more mature versions of the clones who became nicer and took on new identities
Who I think wins: Krohnen. He has a sizable advantage in strength, comparable speed, more defensive options with his barriers, and his pyrokinesis exploits Mayhem's symbiote weaknesses
Kasumi α/Alpha-152 (Dead or Alive)
Connections: Villainous clones who want the attention and love of their original's family and are willing to kill the original to obtain it. Both are prone to rebellious and disobedient streaks, and they show little to no respect toward anyone. They also received genetic modifications from their creators that enhanced their abilities and transformed their bodies into some sort of liquid
Who I think wins: Alpha due to better stats and (if you use her modified form) being able to copy Mayhem's powers for herself
Ayane (Dead or Alive)
Connections: Cynical siblings to the main hero who were outcasts in their homes due to the circumstances of their birth. Both are jealous of their sisters and want to prove that they're superior, even trying to kill them in order to accomplish this
Who I think wins: Ayane due to a massive edge in stats, arsenal, abilities, and experience
Asajj Ventress (Star Wars)
Connections: Vicious women who were once associates of the heroes, only to turn fall down a path of darkness that led to them becoming more wrathful and vengeful. Both believed they were abandoned by their adopted families, causing them to single out one of the leading heroes to the point of obsession (Spider-Girl for Mayhem, Obi-Wan for Ventress). They have a sense of pride when it comes to killing others, and will become offended and angry over even the most minor of slights. This anger eventually causes them to go on a mass killing spree, slaughtering any in their way while dogged by an older, more experienced hero. After some time, they'd eventually have a chance to kill that hero, only to have a last second change of heart and let go of their hatred
Who I think wins: If we go by Disney, Mayhem has a speed advantage, but that's really it. If we go by Legends, she loses that one advantage and gets completely demolished
Red Hood (DC)
Connections: Violent, ill-tempered members of the Bat/Spider family who are more willing to go to extreme lengths to stop crime
Who I think wins: Jason has a larger arsenal, more experience, and should be at least comparable in speed, but Mayhem one-shots
Connections: Clones of an alternate universe heroine who’s related to a red and blue-clad hero. Connections: Clones of an alternate universe heroine who’s related to a red and blue-clad hero. Both are the first successful attempts at cloning their respective species (Kryptonian and human/symbiote hybrid), were created in experiments that involved alien DNA, and were genetically altered while they were still developing (Mayhem being injected with samples of the Venom symbiote, while Dr. Sivana turned Divine’s hair black).
Who I think wins: Aside from experience, Divine takes everything by a wide margin
Connections: Hybrids who were created by the villain as part of an experiment using an ability they’d obtained from another person (Pucci creating FF by tossing a Stand disc in a pond, while Norman created Mayhem by injecting her with Venom’s cells). Both have a unique physiology that makes them independent members of a species that otherwise relies on a host (Foo Fighters simultaneously being a Stand user and Stand, while Mayhem’s half human, half symbiote). They were originally subservient to their creators, but after being shown kindness, they reformed and sided with the heroes, eventually sacrificing themselves to ensure another hero would live in their place
Who I think wins: Mayhem’s stronger, more durable, and could likely physically interact with/sense Foo Fighters’ Stand form given that she’s a clone of Spider-Girl, who’s tracked and harmed invisible demons. However, I feel like Foo Fighters is more likely to pull off a win here. She absolutely blitzes Mayhem, has way higher pain tolerance, a more strategic mind, possesses a regen that Mayhem can’t just brute force her way through, and it’s unlikely Mayhem could figure out how it works or how to counter it. Plus, with FF’s speed advantage, she could inject April with her plankton and possess her, which is something she’s never been shown to resist

Who I think wins: I feel like you could make an argument for Dio here. While he’s nowhere near Mayhem’s strength, he blitzes her hard, and she has no counter to his time stop, freezing, or hypnosis
Alucard (Hellsing)
Connections: Monstrous beings who were experimented on and kept locked in an underground basement. They’re both extremely sadistic, brutal, and enjoy making their opponents squirm; which is motivated by their own insecurities and self-loathing (Alucard viewing himself as a coward who became a vampire to cheat death, while Mayhem’s insecure about being May’s clone and believes admitting this would make her a fake)
Who I think wins: Alucard has the better healing factor, a wider variety of powers, and an edge in numbers with his familiars, but Mayhem takes the stat trinity so hard that it wouldn’t matter
Homelander (The Boys)
Connections: Science experiments who were genetically altered at birth and are presented as heroes to the public in their first appearances. Despite what the populace believes, they are actually violent, narcissistic psychopaths who have no intention of being a hero and are only concerned with their public image. There's also a contrast in that Mayhem becomes a better person over time, while Homelander spirals into insanity
Who I think wins: Homelander has access to symbiote weaknesses in the form of his heat vision and sonic screams. However, he gets blitzed and one-shot before he can use them, and even if he bombarded Mayhem with heat vision, she's survived similar attacks before
Black Noir (The Boys)
Connections: Black-clad, psychopathic clones who are intent on replacing the red and blue-clad hero they were made from. Both were unable to accomplish these goals, and it drove them to insanity, eventually culminating in them trying to kill their original
Who I think wins: Mayhem due to better stats, a wider array of powers, and surprisingly enough, better experience
Wrath (Fullmetal Alchemist 2003)
Connections: Artificially created beings who were accepted into one of the protagonists’ families after briefly fighting the main hero. Both would later turn evil in a misguided attempt at gaining acceptance, unintentionally causing the deaths of one of their family members in the process (Mayhem’s fight with Spider-Girl starting a fire that killed the latter, while Wrath fusing with Sloth paralyzed her and allowed Ed to transmute her body). Sometime after this death, they would sacrifice themselves in an attempt to rectify their past sins. This sacrifice would save the life of a red-clad protagonist and prevent said protagonist from sacrificing themselves in the process (Mayhem by pushing Spider-Girl out of the building before it exploded, Wrath by taking Alphonse’s place in the underground Transmutation Circle)
Who I think wins: Wrath gets blitzed and one-shot
Envy (Fullmetal Alchemist 2003)
Connections: Shapeshifting, artificially created siblings to the red-clad main character who are ashamed of their true forms. Both were rejected by their fathers, who viewed them as monsters. This rejection motivated them to kill the main character, who received the parental love that they felt should've been theirs. They eventually succeeded in this goal, but the aftermath led to them being trapped in a ravaged world. There's also a contrast in their final fate, with Mayhem transporting herself into the past to atone for her sins, while Envy's used as transportation to the past
Purple Nakoruru (Samurai Shodown)
Connections: Cold, more violent counterparts to a red tinted heroine. They share the original’s goals, but are willing to go to more brutal lengths to do so. They also constantly try to prove their methods are more effective, though they never succeed at convincing their counterpart.
Who I think wins: Purple Nakoruru has an enormous edge in strength and durability, but the speed gap between them is so large she has no way of realistically landing a hit. She also doesn't seem to have any hax, so I imagine that Mayhem would hack away at her for a bit, eventually realize nothing's working, and just decide to smother her to death like she did with Tombstone
Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Connections: Black-clad, cynical science experiments who were created by merging alien DNA with an existing lifeform. Both were kept in stasis for over a decade, and upon being released, they became rivals to a wisecracking, optimistic hero who helped them reform

Connections: Black-clad, cynical clones of a more optimistic hero. Both seek to prove themselves as the original/superior to the original and have a rebellious streak, often striking out on their own and only aiding the heroes if it suits their own goals
Who I think wins: Mayhem’s got more experience, but that’s really it. Dark Pit absolutely dominates her in stats, has a way larger arsenal, and a more versatile set of powers and hax that Mayhem has no way of countering
Dark Samus (Metroid)
Connections: Black and blue-clad doppelgangers who were created by combining the hero's DNA with an alien parasite's. Both are merciless sociopaths who started off as chaotic and unpredictable but became calmer and more collected as time went on
Who I think wins: Dark Samus due to a massive edge in stats and Phazon being haxxed out the ass
Vergil (Devil May Cry)
Connections: Blue-clad siblings who serve as foils to the red-clad, wisecracking hero. Both essentially serve as reflections of the main character, with Mayhem being an example of what Spider-Girl could become without her parents' love and Vergil doing the opposite of Dante by embracing his demonic heritage and rejecting his humanity. Both are ruthless in the pursuits of their goals and are willing to kill anyone that gets in their way, regardless of who they are. Their goals are also based on their own inner turmoil (Vergil's quest for power stemming from him losing his family as a child and being alone after his home was destroyed, while Mayhem's quest to rid New York of crime stems from a desire to gain approval from the Parkers and rid herself of her own insecurities)
Who I think wins: Vergil completely destroys April in strength and durability, is at the very least comparable in speed, has a better arsenal, more effective powers, the superior healing factor, and can bypass her durability with Yamato

Connections: Adoptive sisters of the main protagonist who are sadistic towards their enemies and obsessed with the protagonist. After being rejected by their family, they fell into despair and tried to kill the protagonist (Mayhem to earn the approval of her parents, while Camilla does so out of love for Corrin if they turn against Nohr)
Who I think wins: Camilla has an edge in arsenal and abilities, but she gets blitzed and one-shot
Edelgard (Fire Emblem)
Connections: Adoptive siblings who were experimented on by evil masterminds and driven to enact a brutal and murderous sense of justice. They contrast in that while Mayhem wants to kill her adoptive sibling, Mayday, Edelgard's adoptive sibling, Dimitri, wants to kill her.
Who I think wins: See Camilla and replace her with Edelgard
Yang Xiao Long (RWBY)
Connections: Sisters of red-clad, optimistic heroines who, at some point, disagreed with their methods of helping people and set out on their own way.

Jin Kisaragi (Blazblue)
Connections: Cold-blooded antiheroes who hated their red-clad siblings, but later came to regret their actions and tried to atone for them
Who I think wins: Jin. While he's slow as hell compared to Mayhem, he has an enormous edge in strength, durability, and experience, and his cryokinesis covers a massive AOE that Mayhem wouldn’t be able to avoid
Hakumen (Blazblue)
Connections (for M): Older alternate versions of a cold-blooded, blue-clad antihero who went back in time and began working to atone for their pasts by saving the world from disaster
Who I think wins: This one's a bit hard to figure out. Mayhem's got the edge in speed, and she definitely takes versatility and range with her shapeshifting and webbing. Her Spider-Sense would also warn her when not to attack Hakumen, which would make it harder for him to fight with his usual style. However, Hakumen is leagues stronger and more durable, and his body being an empty suit of armor means April can’t suffocate him. Unfortunately, he doesn't really have much range-wise that can tag her, and his ultimate move (Time Killer) is useless since April's not being Observed
Kasuki Bakugou (My Hero Academia)
Connections: Violent wannabe heroes who are jealous of a more heroic rival.
Who I think wins: Bakugo due to better stats and his Quirk letting him exploit Mayhem's symbiote weakness to heat

Connections: Siblings of heroes who became villains for family reasons (Mayhem wanting her parents' love and Dabi wanting revenge on his father due to his awful parenting).
Who I think wins: Dabi statstomps and his Quirk exploits Mayhem's weakness to fire
Nega Shantae (Shantae)
Connections: Evil clones of friendly, red-clad heroines
Who I think wins: Nega Shantae has the more versatile shapeshifting, with her transformations giving her access to symbiote weaknesses. Despite this, Mayhem has an absolutely massive edge in stats, experience, and a wider array of powers

Jinx (League of Legends)
Connections: Psychotic, violent, blue-themed sisters with rebellious streaks to red-themed heroines (Mayday and Vi) who are defenders of their cities, who April and Jinx hold an unhealthy resentful obsession towards. Both had their bodies scientifically altered upon being injected with certain chemicals by an evil chemist (Norman injecting April with cells collected from Venom, and Singed injecting Jinx with Shimmer). Both were involved in a tragic incident where their failed attempt to get their families' approval unintentionally results in the deaths of their family members (Jinx's bomb exploding and killing everyone in her adoptive family except for Vi, and Spider-Girl dying in a fire started during her fight with Mayhem), causing them to be disowned by someone they considered family (Vi and Mary Jane). This led to them falling into despair and going insane.
Who I think wins: From what I've heard, Jinx should take the stat trinity, has a larger arsenal, is way more experienced, has better mobility and healing abilities, and a wider range of abilities
