Batman vs Lara Croft

DC vs Tomb Raider (classic/original timeline)!

Connections: Rich adventurers who were partially raised by elderly butlers with military experience. Both are loners who would rather work alone than with a team, are willing to push themselves to their limits to accomplish their goals, and have received trained by some of the greatest experts in their respective crafts. They would later use this experience to fight superpowered criminals and supernatural threats. They've also had to deal with a childhood friend (Hush in Batman's case and Ajay in Lara's) who was obsessed with imitating them. Said friend would later betray their trust out of ignorance and jealousy and attempt to kill them when they became adults.
