Description

Hellsing vs Top Cow!

Connections:
-Both are Catholics who serve as part of the Vatican's top secret organizations dedicated to protecting humanity from supernatural threats
-Both are intensely supportive of the church to the point of being blind to their associates' corrupt natures
-In their first appearances, they're deployed to slay a darkness-wielding antihero who is in many ways their exact opposite (Alucard and Jackie Estacado)
-They both wield holy weapons designed to purge monsters and unholy beings, which includes an object related to the death of Jesus Christ (Anderson has one of the nails that pierced Jesus' hands, while the Magdalena has the spear that pierced his side)

There's probably more to this, but I haven't gotten that deep into the Magdalena or her lore yet. This also isn't my preferred for Anderson. More just an idea for the Magdalena that I thought sounded cool
