A Prisoner in my own home RE

These wonderful little yellow flowers grew on a grave in Assistens Kirkegården at Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The grave was full of them, and seemed very yellow - but in the perimeter there was this old dark metal fence, and outside it, none of the flowers grew. Only these couple of outsiders looked through the fence, almost tasting freedom :)

This is a re-cropping of the old image:

I got a lot of wonderful feedback on it - and the thing that most people said, was that the dead flower on the right side kind of ruined the overall picture. So I finally did something about it, and made another crop.

Please tell me what you think :)

I think the recropping that you've done with this image really helps frame it better. Despite the bars and the title, these little flowers are very cheery and beautiful. Nice work! Keep it up!

I like simplicity and also the contrast that is given from the presence of the iron fence.

Beautiful . A simple image, yet it brings so many interpretations to mind, for example:

There is always hope.
The mind cannot be caged.
Obstacles can be overcome.
Nature finds a way.

I do prefer this image to the original. I find it simpler and cleaner. :)
