Only a low-grade, postwar anesthetic which mainly gave Nova temporary paralysis instead of helping with the pain.

Nova's a tougher soul than I am. If I had to go through something like that, I'd scream all 7 words you can't say on television and cry like a baby.

And here's a big 'ol ice cream for the good patient.... Banana Split 1 ....well, later. When he's awake and feeling better.
Actually, who am I kidding. Nova gets the equivalent of whatever prevalent treats there are in the Wasteland. I can't remember what snack things were mentioned in Fallout Equestria...but anyway...I'm sure he'll get some normal food later, at least. :)

Little advice Cure All.  Keep your tools clean, don't remove a snake bite tourniquet until ready to treat the bite,  and  Don't operate until the patient is under.

okay theres something weird here... batpony here was less taller than iron sights in that other scene but she's an inch slightly taller (or the same) as Cure All. yep! don't care! she looks awesome!

Yeahhhh... I get confused on those ages, i really prefer human years like a pony being 26 years old. But in essence id say id understand that. Nova is 8 and you say hes got a kids voice the girls are 9 up and down which some of them have mature adult voices. See what i mean? Confusing? 😅

You realize that vocal tone can't be derived from words on a page, right?  You can talk 'like' an adult, using adult words, while still having a kid voice.  There isn't anything confusing about it!

well... yeah, not that confusing when you say it that way... but then why does twilight sparkle have an adult-like voice throughout the entire series? well i guess that doesnt make sense but you can simply expect that youd clarify a pony to be... adult size=adult pony+not having a childs voice. hopefully that wasnt confusing!

Reminds me of why we shouldn't leave power tools out around small kids,,,. Also reminds me of that griffon back a the slave camp battle,,, if she finds some hydra, might be back!

Yeah... I agree. And given the situation, it is already a good thing to have a "real" anesthetic, rather than having to resort to alcohol... although here it seems that the knowledge of medicine has stopped to concepts which were fine in 1800...!

:iconboyamongclouds:

Yeah, but I think Hydra is dangerous to use. Especially for a little kid. Plus these kids are scavengers, they probably don't have quality medical supplies or potions.

Hydra can regenerate crippled/broken limbs, but in both Fallout and this universes lore Hydra is a dangerous drug to use. Cause it can cause the person to suffer as simple shakes to something as severe as a heart attack.

So no, not something to be used (unless as a VERY last resort) and not a very common drug either. (since it's made with a combination of other drugs and plants)

Wasn't there also danger of mutation after use?

:iconbubbabuck123:

In Project Horizons lore, I believe it was a decent source of trace taint, so I guess it in theory risked mutation... But it would likely have just like Dordien said, weaken your bones over time.
(Dont take what I say as fact, I could be confused.... I need to be about 20% surer! :/)

Project Horizons was exactly where I remembered the mutation part. Also get that 20% because I didn't say the thing about bones Derp

Not a mutation per say, but extended uses of Hydra can actually make your bones weaker. So that's another reason why NOT to use it.
