I'm Daniel Brooks, I'm a sculptor living in North Carolina, I used to have an older account but have decided to transfer to a new one just to distance myself from my earlier work.

So I finally got everything up, that I didn't sell, give as a gift, or break before I documented everything.  Now I'm gonna take a break.  Make some more models and try not to break anymore. Sorry to everyone who thinks that I flooded their inbox with stuff, because I think I flooded your inbox.

So for the watchers, hope this doesn't annoy you, but I intend to get halfway through my most recent work by the end of the night. Addendum, and by that I mean my work from last fall, not my work in progress making figurines for my friend. I quit at a tenth of the way there rather than half.  Photodump resumes tomorrow.

Thanks for the watch!!
No problem, loved the goblin.
Happy Birthday!! :cake:
Happy early birthday :D
I have two questions. Why are you making all these heads? And what's the scale of them?
Well I made them last fall for a large scale installation for a gallery. Together all thousand+ heads are arranged to either block all entry into the gallery or manipulate the path of the viewer. I sometimes call the heads "grotesques" they are meant to symbolize cast offs from society (the non art going public). They sit in judgement and inconvenience you.

Seperately they're heads, less impressive but still worth cataloging in my opinion.

Oh and the scale from about 2" high at their smallest to about 6" at their largest.
Thanks for the reply :)
