Well, I wanted one.

Sith are superior to Jedi in nearly every way if you want to really try to dissect things down...

- In hopes of not falling to the "dark side," the Jedi have cut themselves off from everythign that essentially makes the humans human. According to Jedi philosphy, any type of emotion can be a downfall to the dark side. Love? Fall to the dark side. Anger? Fall to the dark side. Fear? Fall to the dark side (no wonder so many Jedi were killed so easily. Fear is a rational response to danger.)

- As a smaller body of power, the Sith are less corruptible and fairly simplistic whereas the Jedi have a central body from which all decisions are made. Oh, and you have to dick around to get the rank of you wanna get anywhere NEAR Jedi Master. Being a Jedi "Master" is a very discriminant title, given it can be implied that a Knight with a Padawan is, technically, a "Master." A true Jedi Master is actually one of twelve members, or who are part of the Jedi council. That's twelve out of about 125,000 Jedi roughly. (I'm guessing low for the total Jedi count.)

- The Jedi way essentially is to accept that hey, you're living a suicide mission. You will die, there's SHIT you can do about it and then, hey, you might be lucky to live for a while as a Force ghost but then you've gotta go and die. Your story's done, you'll be lucky if you're remembered twenty years after you're dead if you're Jedi. As a Sith, you actually have the option of storing your spirit in a lightsaber crystal, prolonging your time as a Force ghost or otherwise living on in legend. I like the latter, don't you?

- Jedi, once upon a time, actually were allowed to have families and children to not being allowed period. Over the years, the belief mutated into something where any family connections was a thing to be severed, entirely. This meant being taken as a baby, raised essentially knowing you were going to be evermore alone until you died, and so on. The belief was so solely corrupted that a simple emotional attachment can get a Jedi expelled from the Jedi order if they're found out.

In conclusion, the Jedi are over rated when you REALLY want to think about it. I could make more points but then I'd get redundant.

While I do like the Jedi (Hey, Ob-Wan is cool! ), you do make some good points:)
Plus...we all have some evil to us...

That evil is what makes us human and to loose that humanity of emotion makes anyone at that point evil. (And Obi is cool, I'll admit.)

If that's what's required of being a Jedi, I'd rather be a Sith.

I agree with those points, the jedi's so called code has been twisted so many times that in the end a jedi had to escentially give up everything they were especially humans who are by our nature a highly emotional species... it wasnt so bad in the era of the old republic where jedi were allowed to keep family ties, be married and have kids... but I think after the jedi civil war it got even more twisted.

now with the sith they dont surpress who they are and can keep their family ties.

And because of that twisting of rules, conduct and the code itself, the Jedi have deemed the Sith evil whereas, who knows? Maybe it's just vice versa of how things should be... maybe the Sith were what the Jedi represented a long time ago.

I think the Jedi still have bad feelings towards the Sith due to what happened during the civil war... almost half the Jedi order defected to the Sith's side and turned on them... I think the Jedi are still just bitter for what happened thousands of years before,

But I think in a way the Sith represent evolution and the Jedi stagnation, As we know Traditionally a Sith apprentice only becomes a master when he/she has bested their master in an all out fight... whoever dies is the weaker, so if a Sith bests their master then they are stronger so the Sith will by their very nature continue to grow stronger.

whereas the Jedi teach their padawan what they need to know... mostly their precious code, a padawan then takes a series of trials that test them so that they may advance, sometimes when a padawan becomes a knight they are weaker or on equal footing to their master.
so there has been no growth.

I think a long time ago the jedi and sith were one in the same, but the Jedi didnt like what the Sith represented so they deemed them evil and turned on them.

Wow that was quite the nerd rant eh
