Description
Bayou Knuckers are common in the swamps and forested backwaters of the southern United States, a wholly aquatic relative of the more familiar Knucker of Europe. Reaching up to 3 meters long, these dragons are somewhat eel shaped and almost entirely lack scales. They feed mainly on fish and crustaceans but will sometimes ambush waterbirds which alight on the water’s surface. Lacking the ability to breathe fire, they are usually not considered dangerous.
