What do you mean by lighted like that?
In this photo I've just used a power drill with an aluminium pole on the end.
Steel wool is attached to the pole and lit with a lighter.
I then held it above my head, and started the drill up!
As the steel wool smolders, parts fly off of it leaving spark trails.

Yeah, made a jig this week with a powerdrill and a piece of aluminium channel.
Got a hook on the end made from a coat hanger, and the wool just gets hooked on that!

Sweet, I always used to get a half dozen bits of wire from burned or stripped sparklers and make a length about 1 1/2 metres long with the wool on the end, then manually swing it round. I like the drill idea though!
