Jesper Ejsing and I will be instructors at the Northern Lights Workshop in Stockholm, October 12-14. It's an unique opportunity in a cosy and creative atmosphere in a stunning city! Sign up now, places are limited.http://northernlightworkshop.com/Jesper and I will be demonstrating how to create truly successful figure portraits, covering such aspects as:- thumbnailing/sketching - silhouette reading - strong posing - details - value control - color. Each of the workshop days will begin with a talk by the instructors, in which they will discuss all the elements that make a great illustration, as exemplified in a single figure. As you might have noticed, I'm not quite active here on Deviantart anymore. It's too much hassle for me to keep every account of mine updated and I deleted a few out there in the interweb, e.g. Myspace. To make things easier for you and for me I set up a Facebook page ->https://www.facebook.com/pages/Eva-Widermann-Art/162374020462093Join this page if you would like to be updated about my illustrations, sketches, signing sessions, convention appearances and anything else art related! Or just have a look at my website at www.eva-widermann.de =)Thanks!

Amazing gallery you have here! :D
Is there anywhere I can go to learn some of the techniques you use? I'm extremely new to art, so you're just way too far beyond me for me to comprehend it. Please if you know some good paths.

I want to do digital illustration pretty much like some of the Wizards stuff you do. I figure I need to do double duty and learn Photoshop CC simultaneously with a basic fine art drawing class.

Do you have any tips, suggestions, links, books, etc.? If they're by you, even better, because really your work is par excellence!
I love it when I find the artist of Pathfinder I love on DA! You're work is awesome!
Oh, so you're the one who does a lot of the art I adore.

By the way, howcome Wizards never asks you to do any stuff in your more anime-ish style that I see in some of your other art? I mean, it'd add a nice bit of stylistic variety and perhaps attract a few more younger players. Of course, this is the same company who made the Thought Eater infinitely lamer in 3e so...
Hey, thanks for your kind words. Wizards actually did approach me for my anime-ish style and I am now doing plenty of art for their newly released Kaijudo game. I did most of the package designs and the illustrations for the website, too. It's really fun :) Have a look: www.kaijudo.com
So often I have seen your work and never made the connection to you ,Wow factor ok , Glad i can at least see stuff you put here on DA now... Happy Foy :P
Thanks! =) I am not very active anymore on DA, I'm afraid, but still happy people are having a look at my art around here. All the best to you, cheers.
