Sorry if I haven't been posting too many pics other than some art challenges, it's just that, I have been busy outdoors recently.
You see, years ago, while my father was alive and well, he planted a whole bunch of fruit trees around my yard, as well as a bunch of berry bushes to boot. This year is a lucky year, for now, the fruit and berries in my yard are plentiful. I just cannot let them all go to waste.
So I had an idea...!
I decided to harvest as much fruit and berries from my yards as I can, and prep them for freezing in storage, so I can use these fruits and berries in cooking recipes.
So, if you all wonder why I've been slow with u
Well, July has been a busy month for me.
I've been working on some birthday gifts for my beloved sister, since her birthday is around the corner. She told me that she wanted nothing more for her birthday than make dolls/toys for her. I was rather flattered by that request, and took it to heart. So, I am going to create things for her.
So far, three of the four dolls I am making are complete. I am going to work on the final one soon before her big day.
Also, I FINALLY COMPLETED one of my many dolls I was planning to customize. I completed Adult Rydia from Final Fantasy IV. I will take pictures of her soon. I had to replace her Bandai Sailor
In case you follow me all on social media sites, for now, I am taking a break, due to some drama involving my friends and I.
I'm not going to give out names, but my friends and I have been bullied and harassed by far left trolls. We did not want to discuss politics nor religion in our various groups on those websites, but we kept getting harassed over it. I even apologized, and they were all like "LMAO! Time to revel in Nazi/Trump Supporter/Alt-right tears!"
So I left the groups, but for some of my friends, they left all together, due to constant harassment and false accusations on those sites.
For now, I am going to calm down and take a b
GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!!!
I finally bought a new SD card today. Now, I can take pictures of the dolls and toys I create/customize!
Also, a little opinion of mine on my experience with doll hair. I know it is a rather unpopular opinion, but bear with me here.
I think both natural animal hair and synthetic hair have both their pros and cons, I myself, prefer to work with doll hair made from animal fibers.
I know what you all are thinking that I am doing this to cheese off PeTA and PeTA wannabe organizations, but that is far from the case here.
I prefer to work with animal hair, due to it feeling more realistic, like human hair does, and it se
I have some good news, and some rotten news.
Let's start with the rotten news first.
Well, my camera SD card broke, and sadly, is now rendered useless.
So next week, I am going to pick up a new SD card for my camera and take pictures of my complete works.
The good news is....
I've been broadening my horizons on sewing different types of plushies and cloth dolls.
For a while, I've been working on a Japanese style of ragdoll called a Bunka doll.
After a week of trials and errors, I finally got one Bunka doll complete.
Once I get my camera working, I will take pictures of her.
Sorry for the disappointment everyone.
I just had to give a
