LOOK: www.mission-base.com/tamiko/ma…

I've been looking for this ever since my visit to the San Jose Museum of Art.  It's a website dedicated to Tamiko Theil's "Travels of Mariko Horo" (a pun on Marco Polo, since she's from the East, traveling to the West)). It's an interactive art piece that's like a video game, and while I've been turned off from video games since the tragic death of Mario in Super Mario Brothers so many years ago (Booter: MARIO!!!  NOOOOOOOOOO!!1sob), this thing is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.

And weird. Really weird.

The demos and videos only capture a fraction of the first hand experiance, but it's worth checking out. If you're in the San Jose area, visit the museum and play this art piece yourself (it's up until Nov 29th). But don't say I didn't warn you about the addictive part, okay?

SNAP.

I went to the SJ convention center today.

And I forgot to tell my mom about this.

Because I was gonna tell her to take me.

How weird. A video game in an art museum. Who'd a thunk it?

The new Mario games are... puke tastic. I prefer the old NES/SNES Mario games.
