Big fan of @Bonkalore X-men art on Tumblr, but I know squat about the X-men. So, I came up with this story so... enjoy! CW: Homophobia, little violence. The locker room buzzed with noise. Teammates milled about or hunched over benches, legs bouncing. Jeremy was among them, eyes fixed on the dirty floor, left leg twitching. His helmet sat on the bench beside him. All of his gear weighed down upon him; he saw no need to add the cherry on top of the claustrophobia when the doors had yet to open. The noise around him appeared muffled yet amplified all at once. He sighed, taking a deep breath and holding it, just like he had been taught. Something moved in his peripheral vision. A stick of beef jerky was dangled in front of him. "Hungry, pretty princess?" Jeremy's insides squirmed. He turned, the image of Blake and his shit-eating grin already clear. The redhead wiggled the piece of meat in front of him, struggling to hold back his snickers, "Come on, just a nibble." His hands curled
