The Gilded King is the ruler of the Southern most elven kingdom in the far east. He is, of course, part of my original story arc The Silent Soul From the Far East. He lives the closest to the Ivory City, the destination of the companions, and also the king most likely to annoy you with his lacking of caring. He rules fairly and justly but he is often known for being devious in personal affairs. He is crafty and often casual while on his throne and rarely offended by anything.
His nickname comes from one, his tattoos that look like gold, and two because his kingdom is often decorated with golden motifs, etc. He is the richest king and often the most miserly with his money. His name also comes from his golden throne which is cushioned with lots of soft, feather-down pillows. (Gilded is used loosely, of course, but his name originally came because of his tattoos.) His kingdoms style is a mix of indian/middle eastern culture and more european in some fashion choices. Also, the Gilded King's elven race is the darkest of all the elves and their skin tone often ranges from a light golden brown to a darker tan.
The Gilded King's most famous for his alliance with Oratous' kingdom in a very old war against a rogue elf uprising in which he, along-side Navintis, stopped the war before it truly could be called just that, a war. That war was known as the Betrayers War, and besides Navintis, The Gilded King is one of the most well known elves in the far east. He fights casually, though ruthlessly, and is often known for his fighting style that appears to look like dancing. He wields two scimitars and has a statue in his honor where the rogue elves were defeated.
