...knocked my power out so I haven't been active for the past week or so! Our generator just arrived so I'm back online for the time being.
Aside from the power, there has only been very minor damage to my house so all is well.
I've been working on a new design that closely matches the new outlook.com. It saves space and looks cleaner overall. It is not finished at this point so reserve any criticism for later.
So the question is: Do you like the new design?
I can't add a poll because I don't have a Premium Membership, so I'd appreciate it if everyone took the time to leave a comment with either a yes or a no. Your feedback will shape future releases!
The surgery was funded! I know how short notice this was as I only found out myself hours ago, but if any of the donations were from here then I sincerely thank you. Knowing this dog has another chance at life is an amazing thing.
I'm not the type to ask for donations but I was presented with a situation that I'd really appreciate help with. A friend of a friend's dog has developed a tumor that requires an expensive surgery to remove. After losing her job of nearly 10 years Natasha can't afford this operation. As a result Joxer may have to take residence in a shelter where they will more than likely choose to end his life.
If anyone happens to have an account on the Steam forums I'd really appreciate it if you showed your support and left a comment there. I'm trying to get the attention of at least one Steam developer so we can improve the Steam skinning process.

Does deviantART have an easier way to do this without submitting a new deviation? A submission can only have one screenshot and a journal entry doesn't have picture previews.
This is why I end up creating a new blog every 6 months as an attempt to give more frequent updates, but that never works out either. I don't get enough views there to make it worth it.
Anyone have a good solution? Does Premium offer something like this?
bgjerlowdesigns (https://www.deviantart.com/bgjerlowdesigns) suggested using deviantART's Sta.sh feature, which I can make a stack with and share a collection of images. I'm going to give this a shot as it seems like the most feasible option; allowing
Window Borders - easier separation between windows
Redesigned Friends List
New Overlay Style - a slim version with just the bar shown and another version with the friends, achievements, and screenshot boxes
Slimmed down main window header
Border below header for contrast between the header and library, also acts as a container for the progress bar (see progress bar screenshot to see it in action)
Cog icon to replace menu text, can be seen in the main window as well as the friend's list
That's what I have
