ForeignDo my eyes decieve me, What is this in front of me,So foreign to my mind,A blood stain has appeared,Upon my kitchen floor,Who has done such a thing,I have never seen,A real murder scene,Only in books could I imagine,Such a horrific thing to behold,I am chilled to the bone,To find a murderer was so near here,I hope never to find,Another murder so gruesome,Or better yet,No murder at all. Under the rainI stand in the midst, Of rainstorm, Feeling the rain,My hair damp,My skin wet,My spirits risen,As I stand,Under the rain,While others say,A rainy day is a bad day,I say,Rain is amazing,It makes me feel,New and fresh. SorrowSorrow fills my eyes, As I watch the suffering,Filling the streets of London,The plague has taken over,No happy children playing,Just the dreadful smell,Of decaying corpses,No merchants yelling out their wares,Just sorrowful pallbearers,Carrying away the many dead,No hustle and bustle of city life,Just the creak of carts,Full of sickly bodies,The plague has affected,Every aspect of life,The plague has brought sorrow,For all, Including me.
