Aaaaah! This is soooo wonderful! I can't believe how much detail I can find in this painting and how delicate the strokes are. I really love the flowers and the greens. This picture is so pieceful and warm. This work is awesome! This deserves more exposure for sure. ^^

Thank you so much for the fanart. I'm really, really impressed!

Did I ever tell you how much I enjoy watching your pictured grow, develop and go from 'draft' to 'final' right before my eyes. It's a real treat.

Actually, I forgot. I did save it in several stages of the background on my blog: [link]

Shame you don't have the first version - I remember seeing it and being entirely unimpressed. Not the case now!

I found it! I do have the original painting. It sucks!! I posted to my blog, just scroll down to see the "big" difference.

LOL, yep. I think the same thing sometimes. It only starts looking interesting when a bunch of layers gets added and details and stretching images. Then it starts looking ike it should. I still have the original sketch though. Looks nothing like the final piece!

Awww, thanks. I soooo needed to have a tutorial of this. I should have saved it in steps. Remind me to do that next time.

You know what I need? Ever seen those "speed paintings" on youtube.com? I need something like that. It's so bizarre to see a painting develop from a mere sketch because so much layering of color goes into it. It's crazy! I can't even believe I did something like this, lol. Ever feel that way? It's like some other person takes over and I don't know what hit me until it's over with.

I agree. It's always fascinating to watch the very beginning of a sketch and see how it improves. Like someone else just took over the piece and made it better. Wow...
