No Comment

I scroll through journal entires
others had written,
sadly no comments in reply.
I mouse-over the button
to leave my thoughts
but turn away, a comment
left only from the mind.
As I look through my own page
and down to the replies,
I noticed them empty and sigh.
Perhaps due to the pageviews
others have come, and left
comments from their minds too.

Inspired by...well...commenting. I don't know, it just sort of hit me last night and I suddenly remembered it. So here it is. My first poem of 2009!
