He collects weird but interesting artefacts. You can try to sell items to him, in exchange, he will grant a wish of equivalent value. He likes items that have a strong emotional imprint on them.
Ecatel is one of my favourite OC's from a long time ago. I was rummaging through my old sketches and decided I'll redraw him. This is how he looked like in 2009. My friend said "damn, he went to the gym." haha!
