Description

I wanted to take on painting the Filipino myth of "Maria Makiling." Encatada is the (colonial) Filipino word for fairy or goddess. I painted this on Arches hot pressed watercolour paper which I didn't stretch so it buckled a little bit. I'm such a noob. I used M.Graham watercolours for the paint.

I uploaded a time lapse video of how I painted this on my youtube channel youtu.be/mJvlKKrBvVo

Materials
M. Graham & Co. artist watercolours
9" x 12" Arches Hot Press watercolour paper
Utrecht round brushes size 12, 6, 2
Staedtler Mars Lumograph HB mechanical pencil
Uni-ball Signo broad white pen
