2016 Update
Conventions: I just finished attending 10 of 10 UK comic conventions over the last 10 months. A great experience, which I hope to write more about in the near future. Chatted with loads of great people over the course including Deviantartists: ~yoneyu (https://www.deviantart.com/yoneyu) :iconflyingviperart: :iconentenn: :iconpauscorpi: :iconm0zch0ps: :iconcoldcoldethyl: :iconkittystardraco: (sorry if I missed anyone out) Was great to meet so many artists all doing their own thing and making the effort to put themselves out there Currently plans are to slow it down- attending two or three cons a year unless I decide to create more con-friendly artwork, i.e. fan art to

Hi! Just here to say that 'The Art of Drawing Manga' helped me a lot when I was younger and if it weren't for this I don't think I'd ever start. Thank you :)

Thanks Yuki. Yeah, the Organic Metal Forums are there, but I'm guessing there was some behind the scenes change to my web server and they aren't loading up as they should. I don't know if it's worth me trying to get them back online since they'd not been active for years! They had their use before social media was much of a thing, but the internet has changed so much in the last 15 years and independent artist forums are no longer necessary. Ah well, if at some point they were useful to a few people like yourself in some small way, I'm glad :)

Social media just isn't the same.

My brother was in art college and bought me one of your books and I searched for you until I found those forums. The community I've experienced back then really made a difference. Maybe all of us former forum folks will hit up your DA page more often.
