There are 2 reasons for this: Younger artists don't know that back in the early 2000s the internet was a fun, growing digital domain of wonder, good-will, community and novelty. It wasn't perfect, but there was space for emerging artists to post and have their work seen on sites like DA. Now it's become an oversaturated, commercial mess. There is barely any engagement, community or interest
