thanks Sascha! Always carry 2 lenses with me, but most often too lazy to put the macro on =p This texture at least I got to capture with my walkaround lens =D

pretty awesome so far for a non macro. it's difficult for my 100m macro to get clean crisp shots. bokehs are awesome with it though.

hah yes, I have the 100mm macro lens too =D Can be tricky if you want to offer flat surface textures, but I also use a scanner for that. Can scan up to the equivalent of 4800ppi which yields an image on screen that is many times larger than real life. Of course it's confined to specific uses since I don't exactly want to scan dirt or glass as it would damage my scanner, but plenty of stuff to find otherwise for interesting scanned textures :)
