Mixed media photomanipulation combining a grunge wall texture, a cloudy sky, and an abstract acrylic painting. Title inspired from Norse mythology as a fusion between Valhalla and Ragnarok for an image I feel conveys an abstract sense of duality between heaven and hell. Stock used from these images in my gallery:

Awesome texture! Nice work... I guess it was quite a hard work :)

Thank you very much :) If I had to recreate the image, it would be pretty easy... but it takes a lot of trial & error with abstract composites to see what works and what doesn't.

How cool is this? :)

Thanks Seren :) Wish I could play around more with abstracts like this, but seems to require a different frame of mind than pure photo work

I agree, having played around with all of it. I do know my training as a photographer definitely affects how I put together manips. One of the things I have discovered is using Lightroom to edit manips and change the entire image at once. Doing this makes the image seem more organic and not just a collage. But yeah, I still tend to approach art as photos. :)
