A portion of a map that will eventually make it into my City Blocks collection.
Mountain Keep-Roll20-51x40
I received a request to fit another of my maps to align with the Roll20 grid.  Like many of my older maps, this one was created long before Roll20 existed so there was no consideration for making it match a snap-to-grid.  This one was even more off as it is 3 maps stitched together with no thought to having them line up with each other.
To get this to align on Roll20: create a new map space that is 51 inches wide by 40 inches high.  Then set the upper left corner of the map into the upper left corner of the grid, grab the lower right corner of the map and stretch it down into the lower right corner of the grid.  Note:  The 1/2 inch white border on the right and bottom sides is part of that 51x40 and should help with the alignment.
There are a couple rooms that will still not match the grid because they use a floor tile that is not set on the same grid.  There's nothing I can do about it, but at least the rooms are not to big.  And there is always the option of turning off the snap to grid, Roll20 plays better without it.
Old Port Roll-20-version
To get the grid to align on Roll20, create a new map page that is 32" wide by 40" high  at 5 ft/ inch.  Upload this map onto it.  Drag the upper left corner of the map to the upper left corner of the white grid, it should snap into place.  Find the middle edge of the bottom side and drag it down the bottom of the grid, then grab the middle of the right edge and drag it to the right edge of the grid.  The map should now cover all of the white grid surface.  right click on the map and change the layer to "Map", the grid should now show over the map.  The tiles of the walkway are 2.5ft squares so a 2x2 group of tiles should be 5ft x 5 ft and fill one map grid.
In a "two for the price of one" mapping attempt, I made this map as my entry in one of Cartographer's Guild Challenges and a slightly different version that will eventually be part of my City Blocks Kickstarter Project.
For anyone who likes Sci-Fi & modern gaming battlemaps, MapForge is running a new Kickstarter to get more add-on artwork and the majority of it is Sci-Fi / Modern tiles and art.  There is some great new Fantasy art as well and you can pick and choose which you want.  Here is the link if you are interested:…

I recently happened upon the Bogie's Mapping Objects for Dundjinni  page at… and found your collection of art that had been saved for use with Dundjinni. I am using Dungeon Painter Studio and these fit perfectly in the required format. Would it be ok  to place them as a free to download  asset there for others to enjoy your great work if I give you full credit for your art?

I would be OK with it, BUT the website which did all the work to bundle the collection and host it have a strict license that would not allow it.

It would be better if you had a post telling your fellow members about the collection and post that link so they can download it from vintyri themselves.

Glad you like my art!  Thanks

Hey Bogie !
I have a question for you, are you the creator of this map ?

Yes I am.  One of my first maps, years ago.  I made a second version that was more swampy / vegetation that hides the repetitive water texture better.
Here are links to the full size versions of both maps:……

Hey Bogie,
I updated my computer in November to Windows 7 and since then I haven't been able to get on the dundjinni forums at all.  Do you know if they went kaputz or is it just that my compy doesn't work with it anymore.  (Not the program - sadly I never did get it to work, but the actual forums) :(

No, it's not you.  The DJ website started acting up about then and went rapidly downhill.  It has become very frustrating to try to post or find anything on it.  We reported it to the web host, but they can't do anything without input from the owner and she is M.I.A.  I am hoping it will somehow fix itself, but I am not holding my breath.

On the bright side, one of the original DJ moderators, Heruca, has just started a Kickstarter campaign to create a replacement for DundJinni.  His program MapForge will have some nice features that DJ didn't have and should be more reliable.  The Kickstarter reached it's funding goal in less than 12 hours and is at 180% in 36 hours.  Looks like there are a lot of people out there wanting this.  Here is the link to it for more info:…

Bogie, thanks for all the work & assets you've shared. Making maps for Roll20 used to be rather stressful and discouraging for me, but this last week I discovered all the work that you, Neyjour, and others have poured into maps & elements. It gave me a newly-awoken love of maps, and the stress has somehow disappeared. So thanks :)

Here's my first effort, which uses many of your assets:…
