Metal Sonic Digital Painting. Done using Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Cintiq Tablet. The visual references I used were pictures of light reflecting off blue car paint, pictures of rust, pictures of broken glass, a metal sonic action figure, and inspired by Sam Spratt Illustrations.
I'm a huge Sonic fan, and I believe the whole Sonic Universe could be made to be a lot more badass than it is already.
