One of the handful of children's menu I did for the Mimi's Cafe chain restaurant while back. The theme was "Americana"; Tried to cram as much as possible on such a small area.

Let's see...
Medium: 11X17 Bristol Board. Polychromos pencils (blue), Graphite pencils (2B), Sharpie and Pitt markers.
Pencils: 13 hours.
Inks: 2 full workdays (16 hours, no lunches).
Revisions: 1.5 hours.
Total: 30.5 hours

...plus 17 cans of Coke, 2 Advil, 4 Tylenol, 15mg of "Happy Pills."

I love how rich and clean your inks are. Also how you don't skimp on shadow when needed to make foreground elements stand out more.

Never attended art school, but it pays to listen to people that are professional, and one of them just said "shadow your world", and I never looked back.

Beautiful, intricate artwork, but the photograph does not do it justice.. the depth of focus is too short. Any chance that you could scan and repost this in high definition?

My son is the right age for coloring, and I'd love to see what he could do with this.

Actually, it was a "find and seek". The large empty space on the upper left would list the items hidden on the picture.

Your b&w lineart works for either method.
