I agree. From what I learned in a Comparative-Literature course on mytholgy in college, many, if not most, gods and goddesses were capable of being jealous jerks, regardless of culture: Greek; Roman; Norse; Egyptian; Sumerian; Mesopotamian; you name it; they were very vindictive when disrespected, whether by mortals (including half-humans and non-humans) or other deities.
Ah yes, "Nova." I remember, now. Thanks for jogging my memory. No apology necessary: it happens to me, too.
I've never owned one (I live in the U.S.), but I love skinks -- they're "glorious little animals," to quote the late Steve Irwin. I think they're one of the most adorable members of the lizard family (no disrespect intended to geckos, chameleons, iguanas, and their other smaller kin).
AMT (a million thanks) for sharing this!
Stay well, everyone.
